Stuff, Eating Stuff.
I am a St. Louis–based visual communicator, educator, and passionate foodie who combines design and illustration to tell compelling visual stories. I am currently an Assistant Professor of Design & 3D Animation at University of Missouri–St. Louis, where I teach Illustration, Animation, Design, and Game Art.
My research and creative work explore comfort, regional identity, and storytelling through illustration and animation. I actively exhibit my work in St. Louis and beyond, and have been recognized by AIGA, 3x3 Magazine, ICON, and Communication Arts.
In addition to my academic and creative work, I run a freelance practice specializing in illustration, branding, packaging, and design consulting for small businesses. I also regularly participate in art fairs and tabling events throughout the St. Louis area. I just published my first ever children's book, Route 66: Faces and Places Along America's Most Famous Road in August!
